Last Tuesday, November 03,2020 was the Best Day in Donald J. Trump’s 74 plus years of living. He is the sitting President of the United States of America.
He holds the Most Powerful Political Position on the Planet. He is the Chief Executive of the World’s richest, strongest, and most powerful Nation anywhere. He has held the reins of the entire US Executive Branch for 4 years. He has appointed every senior government official, Cabinet Member, and White House staff member for that entire time. He has not been shy about firing anyone who looks at him funny, much less who disagrees with him, in public or private. He has cowed Republican Senators, Governors, and Congressmen at will, repeatedly, with malice, and they almost always come back for more.
He has turned National assets and properties into Political Rally sites and political money raising venues. He has personally profiteered off foreign sources to the tune of tens of millions of dollars since 2016, and directed US taxpayer funds to be spent at his personal business properties, against the spirit and letter of the Law and U.S. Constitution, without penalty so far.
He raised and spent more than $1 billion dollars on his 2020 Re-Election Campaign, hundreds of millions of that amount from small donors.
He is personally wealthy. He has the loyalty of tens of millions of American Voters, particularly among Evangelicals, Rural Americans, and those who are convinced he fights for the Little Guy. He has 80 million or more Twitter followers, and effectively a state sponsored major TV network on Fox News and its most popular shows at his beck and call.
What’s not to like? And yet, in one of those outdated and inconvenient democratic rituals dusty with age, he had to run for Re-Election this year, after 4 glorious years of MAGA.
His opponent was a tired, lost more than a step, sleepy, old guy who accomplished nothing in 50 years of politics, and who hides in his basement now, where he is becoming the brain captive of socialist radicals, law breakers, and anti-American zealots.
Cakewalk. Not a Chance to Lose This Baby. Shoulda been a Gimme Political Putt for the Donald in the Red Hat.
But…
As DJT went to bed or paced the floor after midnight on the Day of his Glorious Impending Second Term Success, he was behind. Not Fatally. But down by 1.7 million votes nationwide. An unpleasant reminder of 2016, but he won in the end, anyway. It’s just all those illegal immigrants in California, New York, Illinois and such that bias the count.
Because of the Pandemic Hoax and all the Wobblies who couldn’t see through the FAKE NEWS Media reporting, and those 60 million Mail In ballots that kept popping all over from who knows where, no-one called the Election Winner on Election Night, as they should have.
When the Dust partially settled on Saturday, all the Networks made a unanimous call for Biden (that Sleepy Joe guy?) on November 7 around noontime. Trump.45 was taking his ease golfing, sure of his Inevitable Win to Come.
But by then the popular vote was trending steeply in the absolute wrong direction. Trump was now down by 4.26 million votes, worse than the final Clinton farce. And the damage kept getting worse and worse. Biden’s lead (Biden?) grew by 240,000 more votes from Saturday to Sunday. Now Trump was really getting trashed on paper, and starting to look like a loser.
From Sunday to Monday, Trump’s losing margin grew by another 395,000 votes as critical states were finalizing their counts. And then from Monday to Tuesday, Trump was down another 172,000 votes. And finally, in the 24 hours from Tuesday to Wednesday this week, Trump fell behind by another 46,000 votes.
So this evening, Trump, just 8 days after the Election on the Greatest Day of His Life is now a Public Major Loser down 5,114,635 votes to joker Biden and That Woman. The pain goes on and on and just keeps getting worse. Make it go away.
But at least there is the Electoral College where Trump’s bacon is cured. Except not this time. Despite every conceivable Electoral Advantage , and Trump personally being in Charge of the multitrillion dollar US Government Executive Branch to spend freely and make policy pronouncements, in 2020 Trump failed to win over a single Clinton state. Not one. Not a farthing’s worth.
To add insult and defeat to injury, he did not hold his own, He lost back all three of the formerly Blue Wall Midwestern states that cemented his 2016 Electoral Vote victory: Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. And He lost Arizona and is losing Georgia with less than 2% of votes left to count. Virtually hopeless to reverse this result without a major recount change, on the order of 20 times more switched votes than in any other statewide election in America in 20 years.
Trump has launched all manner of lawsuits to harass and fiddle with the election counting and vote certification in 5 or more states. His legal team has been suffering rapid losses, often being tossed out of court suffering withering criticism from sitting Judges about the amateurish and frivolous nature of the claims and legal representation. There has been no credible evidence anywhere of any significant voter fraud produced by his campaign.
As a practical matter he has been entirely unable to mount a serious challenge to get anywhere near a potential Supreme Court intervention in his favor in any single state. Much less a favorable ruling in two or more states that would be necessary to undo his expanding Loser Status.
But wait, there’s more. Due to the Pandemic, billions of dollars in ads, and a massive GOTV campaign on both sides for Mail in and In Person voting, more American voted in 2020 than ever before in history. We have already counted 149.1 million votes this year.
The best estimate from the US Elections Projects is that there will be a final total of 158.7 million votes this year when all is said and done. That means there are 6% of the votes nationwide that have not been fully reported out yet. The New York Times estimates that the outstanding number of votes not yet finally tallied (Provisional ballots, Overseas and Military personnel, late reporting jurisdictions) is about 4%.
These entirely legally cast but as yet unreported ballots will not make any difference in who wins each state. As this list from the Times shows in the five closely contested states Biden flipped: Arizona (>98%), Pennsylvania (98%), Wisconsin (>98%), Michigan (>98%), and Georgia (>98%), there are not enough votes left for Trump to win at any reasonably achievable partisan ratios, and the greatest portion of the outstanding remainder are in strongly Democratic leaning counties.
Most of the 51 state elections (plus D.C) in 2020 were not really very close. Only 5 were decided by less than 3 points (Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina). Biden prevailed in 4 of the 5 (Georgia is set for Recount, Biden ahead by 14,000). Thirty-eight of the states were decided by margins of 10 points or more (20 Republican and 18 Democratic). Overall, Trump won only 25 of the contests in 2020, down 5 from his haul in 2016.
That however is not the bad news. As inspection of the Times list shows, the vast bulk of the remaining 6.2 million (NYT) to 9.5 million (USEP) votes come from overwhelmingly Democratic strongholds.
Among the Trump Red States in 2020, the only ones where less than 98% of all votes are counted are Mississippi (97%), Alaska (75%), and Ohio (95%). For the Democratic Blue States, they are more numerous: California (95%), D.C. (88%), Illinois (95%), Maryland (86%), Massachusetts (93%), New Jersey (90%), New York (84%), Colorado (97%), and Maine (91%). More highly populous Democratic states will provide the great majority of the remaining votes to arrive at the final 2020 totals.
We won’t know exactly until the vote are counted, but Biden’s popular vote lead could easily grow by another 1 million to more than 6 million, or twice the drubbing Clinton delivered to Trump in 2016. It is possible at the outside edge that Biden lead could reach a lead of nearly 7 million on the final tally.
As noted above these final tallies WILL NOT AFFECT the winner in any states for Electoral College purposes, but they will further sink Trump into Defeat as a Presidential Loser.
What Does it Mean?
In simple terms, Donald J Trump was at the Top of His Political Game as the Most Powerful Leader in the World, with every possible political advantage to ensure his easy Re-Election in 2020: money, power, influence, control of the entire Executive Power of the US, and 4 years of time for his policies to come to pass and benefit Americans.
Republicans turned out in droves at his urgent call to save the country, at least 10 million more of them than in 2016. This was the highest turnout for an American Election in Modern History (more than 66%).
And yet, and yet, when the sun went down on Election Day, Trump was only Number 2. He was not A Winner. He was demonstrably An Early Loser. The Loser in the Largest American Election in Our History. In 244 years.
And his Election Night Uncertain Status has only worsened day by day at the margins as complete votes are counted, and winners for each state are determined.
Every Republican vote was counted. It wasn’t enough to obscure, paper over, or cover up the failure of his policies and performance as President of All the United States. The Virus Beat him. Joe Biden Beat him. Kamala Harris Beat him. Most importantly, A Solid Majority of America’s Voters Beat him. And the Supreme Court won’t save him.
Trump is only the 4th President in 90 years to lose the chance to serve a second term. Hoover in 1932. Carter in 1980, and George HW Bush in 1988. Another glaring failure for the Man Who Would Not Lose (Ever).
He is angry, furious, enraged, disappointed, pouting, feeling sorry for himself, rejected, abandoned, spurned, stabbed in the back by those who owed loyalty, etc., etc…
He won’t admit defeat. Concede is not in his Vocabulary, one of his advisors (Jason Miller) pontificated.
He doesn’t want to concede he lost fair and square. Or that he lost unfair and not on the Square. That’s OK.
The Very Best Thing about American Democracy is that nowhere in the Constitution or any of our Laws does it require a Loser to Admit Defeat, Accept His Loss, Recognize His Failure, or Concede the Election.
On January 20,2021 at 12 Noon, Trump.45 as President of the United States of America is Gone, Brother and Sisters. Just Gone. He is done and over. He has no residual executive power whatever as Ex-President.
He can decide to leave of his own volition, or by means of an Escort. He can play it Hard or Soft. But He is Going.
And he better watch out, or they just might take away his Marine One privileges and he can leave the White House by limo (of course, accompanied by a reduced Secret Service detail).
He can skip the 2020 Inaugural if he wants. Stupid, but who knows what his Gut is Telling Him recently. Tens of Millions of his fellow citizens would not be unhappy to see him slink out of town to wherever he’s going. Nobody likes a Party Pooper.

His one term Presidential Legacy will include a serious economic recession in his last year in office, and an abysmal record of facing the greatest Public Health threat to our country in 100 years. There will be 300,000 Dead and 15 million Americans infected by a nasty little flu like bug in less than 12 months while he was in total control of the national response. Shockingly poor performance. Indelible stains on whatever legacy he had in mind for himself.

Today in America, we celebrate Veterans Day to honor all those past and present who answered the Nation’s Call to Service and wore the Uniform proudly. There are 18 million US Veterans alive today, and tens of millions more family members who sacrificed while their loved ones were on Watch for the USA, here and abroad. Donald J Trump is not one of them.
In this strange year of 2020, today we can also celebrate the unfolding majesty of the fundamental values those Veterans have fought and served to protect and defend: the American Way of Voting and Elections to Ensure Peaceful Transfer of Power and Authority from One President to the Next Duly Elected President as Prescribed under Our Constitution.
